Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Architect to join our team. Firebase knowledge is mandatory for this candidate. We are looking to optimize our application built on firebase system to scale better.
Apart from this the expectation is to help in designing of new feature on top of Firebase web application.
Knowledge of GCP , GKE , docker , microservice is good to have as we may move some of the functionality to microservices The candidate would also be responsible for upgrading, and migrating legacy applications to address scalability challenges,
ensuring they meet the growing demands of the business while enhancing performance and reliability, while taking care of cost and security
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse existing systems and evaluate the bottlenecks in terms of performance and scalability, Existing application has been built on Firebase
- Come up with phase wise realistic plan on how the system can be optimized to handle heavier load and be future proof
- Code review and guidance to the team
- Database optimization
- Add robust monitoring and early detections systems
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Over 10+ years of hands-on experience in backend software development ( Firebase ) ,
- Knowledge of Typescript , JavaScript , nodejs , reactjs
- Messaging platforms such as PubSub/Kafka
- Skilled in building and consuming gRPC services for efficient service-to-service communication.
- Proficient in debugging and monitoring applications using Google Cloud Logging and Monitoring tools.
- Well-versed in configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, with a focus on automation and reliability.
- Solid grasp of distributed system architecture, RESTful API design, networking fundamentals, and application security.
- Experienced in using observability tools and logs for troubleshooting production issues.
- Committed to writing efficient, reusable, and well-tested code, supported by thorough unit and integration testing.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
